CHANGING FEATURES OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract

The processes in the development of the international community related to the trends towards globalization have affected various spheres, including the political one, giving rise to many discussions in scientific and political circles regarding state sovereignty and its attributes. The purpose of the study is to identify the main trends in the transformation of signs of state sovereignty in the context of globalization. The scientific novelty lies in a comprehensive study of the factors of international life that affect state sovereignty. The research methodology is based on a theoretical analysis of scientific research materials to assess the impact of various factors on the signs of sovereignty. The study proves that in modern conditions, despite the decrease in the manifestations of globalization processes, their impact on certain aspects of the functioning of states and society continues. It is concluded that the new factors affecting the change in the signs of state sovereignty include the formation of a new information space and the emergence of social space and communications beyond state borders. The author substantiates the need for a state policy that allows adapting to new challenges.
