Abstract
The article examines modern trends and mechanisms of patriotic education of Russian youth through the prism of the development of youth movements and volunteer organizations. The relevance of the topic is due to the increasing role of civil initiatives and volunteering as a key element of state policy on the formation of patriotic values and civic identity in the context of digitalization and increasing globalization challenges. The purpose of the study is to analyze the integration processes between government agencies and youth initiatives, as well as to assess the effectiveness of patriotic programs and their contribution to the formation of national identity. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to the study of the phenomenon of patriotic education, which takes into account both historical and cultural traditions and modern challenges, including the influence of digital technologies and the global information environment. Materials and methods of the study include the analysis of scientific literature, official documents, educational programs, as well as empirical data from sociological surveys and interviews with participants in youth movements. The conclusion is made about the importance of interaction between the state and society for the sustainable development of patriotic education, and prospects for further research related to digitalization and changes in models of patriotism are outlined.
