Abstract
The author analyzes main economic decision of the SCO summit in Astana of Kazakhstan chairmanship in 2024. The article also considers the existing limitations and opportunities for further economic cooperation at the SCO, facilitating the global actorness of the organization and enhancing potential of Russian politics in Central Asia. The author concludes that one of the factors for broadening SCO’s economic agenda is aspiration of its members to ensure transregional status of the organization as the element of international system.
