Abstract
Issues related to risks in the labor activity of pedagogical workers are analyzed. From the point of view of the current legislation and practice of its application and existing approaches in science, the concept of threat to life and health of an employee is investigated, an authorial definition is proposed. In the context of the risks lying in the plane of pedagogical labor certain recommendations to contribute to the system of social and labor guarantees of pedagogical workers are proposed.
