Abstract
It is noted that cybercrime using cryptocurrencies is becoming a new trend of official crime in Russia and the world. It is proved that this type of threats is a new challenge to the system of public administration, as the existing legal framework and generally accepted methods of operational and investigative activities do not allow to effectively prevent corrupt transactions with the use of cryptocurrencies.
