Abstract
The criminological and legislative aspects of criminal-legal protection of sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the individual are considered. The peculiarities of qualification of encroachments on sexual inviolability on the grounds of helpless state of the victim in cases provided by the Russian legislation are determined.
