The methods of conducting operational and investigative activities to prevent terrorist acts are analyzed. Theoretical and practical aspects of carrying out operational and investigative activities for the purpose of terrorism prevention are considered, and proposals for changing the current legislation aimed at improving the effectiveness of prevention of terrorist acts are formulated.
