Abstract

The legal content of house arrest as a preventive legal measure is analyzed. Peculiarities of applying home arrest in the Russian Federation and the USA are studied. Problems arising in the process of the preventive measure application are considered, and ways to solve them by amending the RF Code of Criminal Procedure are proposed.
