Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by the significance of historical memory, which is an important cultural and value phenomenon in the information and communication space of society. The purpose of the article is to study the political and ideological discourse in relation to historical narratives as a result of the implementation of the historical policy of the Russian state. The main method of the study is discourse analysis, which allows us to identify evaluative judgments on certain interpretations of the historical past in modern ideological and political discourse. The media content posted on social networks is studied, which, as a rule, is of an evaluative nature in relation to the events and personalities of the past. As a result of the research, firstly, the basic political discourses regarding Russian historical memory were identified; secondly, risk narratives were identified that blur the value foundations of the historical memory of Russian society in the discursive practices of mass media; thirdly, strategic narratives necessary for the preservation and formation of the historical memory of Russian society in the context of information threats were formulated.
