Abstract
Political communications of local governments represent one of the key areas of their activities as institutions of public authority. Political communications are characterized by a variety of forms, subjects and objects of interaction and at the same time are in constant dynamics. This makes them not only an actual object of scientific research, but also forms scientific novelty. In the studies of political communications of government institutions, the priority is most often given to public authorities of the federal and regional levels. Meanwhile, local self-government bodies are the lowest link of the vertical of public power, which are characterized by general and specific characteristics and trends in the dynamics of political communications. The article considers various forms of political communications of local self-government administrative bodies with public authorities, local self-government and the population on the basis of empirical data and analysis of municipalities of the Saratov Region. A comparative analysis of their types and effectiveness is carried out. The influence on political communications of such factors as digitalization, redistribution of authority subjects and powers between government levels, participation in federal and regional political processes is assessed. Political communications of LSG administrative bodies with the participation of mass media, civil society institutions and social networks on the Internet are analyzed.
