Abstract
The decisions of the Constitutional Court of Russia, issued in 2023, which touch upon issues of restricting rights and freedoms of an individual are analyzed. The legal positions of the Court on the issues of restricting human and civil rights and freedoms, as formulated in these decisions, are examined. It is concluded that these legal positions are an element of the system of human and civil rights and freedoms protection from unconstitutional restrictions.
