Abstract
The essence and content of moral and ethical qualities of a modern graduate-lawyer, according to the requirements of the current Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education. The necessity of uniting all HEIs related to the unified group of specialties in Jurisprudence with the qualification “lawyer” in a single educational program is substantiated. The conclusions are made that for students of non-legal profile it is necessary to have a module reflecting the legal foundations of a certain sphere of professional activity, aimed at the formation of political and legal consciousness.
