Current issues of observing labor rights and achieving gender equality in the Kyrgyz Republic are considered. The legislation regulating women’s rights in the labor market is analyzed, and the problems related to its implementation in practice are assessed. The measures taken by the state to improve the situation of women in the labor market are studied, and the prospects for further development of initiatives aimed at achieving gender equality in labor relations are discussed.
